Save the Date: CoH District E Town Hall, September 22
9/17/26 – Houston District E City Council Member Fred Flickinger will hold a town hall meeting on September 22 at the Kingwood Community Center from 5-8 PM. It will include an all-star lineup of speakers addressing their priorities and projects affecting District E – both current and future.
Speaker Lineup
Speakers include:
- Council Member Fred Flickinger
- Houston Mayor John Whitmire
- State Rep. Charles Cunningham
- Council Member Twila Carter
- Houston Airports Director Jim Szczesniak
- Dan Huberty and Greg Olinger from the Coastal Water Authority plus Chris Mueller from Black and Veatch (Lake Houston Gates Project)
- Larius Hassan, Houston Solid waste
- Ryan Prillman, Houston Public Works
- Tom Broad, Chairman TIRZ 10 (Northpark project)
- HPD Executive Chief Thomas Hardin and Captain Rafael Flores
Schedule/Location
Doors will open at 5 PM. Visitors will have an hour to circulate among tables and talk with the various representatives.

The program will begin at 6 PM and go until 7:30 followed by Q&A.
