450 photos of sand mining operations and sand build-ups around Kingwood and in surrounding waterways
All aerial photos were taken on 9/14/17 after Hurricane Harvey. The aerial tour started near the US59 bridge, circled the sand mines to the west of Kingwood, then followed the West Fork of the San Jacinto to the East Fork. We then went up the East Fork and followed Caney Creek to the sand mine on the east side of Kingwood. Finally, we came back down Caney Creek and the east fork and returned to Hobby airport.
