Looking south toward the west fork of the San Jacinto across the boat parking at River Grove Park. Harvey dumped five feet of sand near the river and closed down the boat dock for more than 18 months. The Army Corps dredged the giant sand bar (upper left and just out of frame) that blocked the drainage ditch running diagonally through the frame.
